Katie Price faces yet another driving ban after pleading guilty to failing to disclose who was behind the wheel of her car at the time of an accident in October.
The 41-year-old had previously pleaded not guilty to the charge, which relates to a crash in October which police received a report about on 8 October.
It was alleged that the star’s pink Range Rover was involved in a crash in Bexley, before failing to stop, according to The Sun.
However, Katie today changed her plea, and could be banned from driving as she has six points on her driver’s license.
Price did not appear at Bromley Magistrates Court today, with District Judge Robert Hunter reading out a statement on her behalf.
The statement read: ‘Back in October my mental health was seriously affected. I sought help from a rehab centre for PTSD.
‘During this time I wasn’t in control of my work, property or mail or in general.
‘I am now in a clearer mindset and tackling my issues and getting back on my feet.
‘I wasn’t driving at the time. I plead guilty.’
The case has been adjourned to August.
Katie has faced a number of driving charges this year, after her car crashed in the early hours of 10 October after she celebrated Kris Boyson’s 30th birthday.
In February, she was convicted of being drunk in charge of her car which had crashed, although was found not guilty of drink driving.
The month prior, Katie received a three-month driving ban and a £1,100 fine after she pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and not having third-party insurance.
The mum-of-five claimed she handed herself in after being pictured taking her son Harvey to a doctor’s appointment, not realising she was still banned.
Metro.co.uk has contacted a rep for Katie for comment.
