Katie Price looked thrilled to walk her son Harvey out of hospital where he had spent almost two weeks in intensive care.
Harvey, 18, was rushed to Epsom Hospital earlier this month after experiencing a high temperature and chest pains, and was taken to the intensive care unit.
After his condition improved, Katie’s eldest son was released from the Surrey hospital on Tuesday.
Carrying a pharmacy bag, the My Crazy Life star was seen leading Harvey out of the facility while wearing a face mask. Katie linked his arm and at one point, held his hand providing support for the youngster.
A rep for the former glamour model told Metro.co.uk that she was ‘naturally delighted’ to finally be able to take Harvey home.
Harvey being discharged comes after Katie assured fans the teen was on the ‘road to recovery’.
‘It feels like Christmas. I can’t stop smiling,’ Katie told The Sun.
‘The day started badly, but it’s ending as the best day ever.’
While in hospital, Harvey was tested for coronavirus as is routine, with his results coming back negative. Katie explained that doctors had kept Harvey in ICU due to the ‘complex’ nature of his condition.
Harvey is blind and autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, which can also affect his speech and movement.
On Sunday, she assured fans that Harvey was back to his usual self while sharing an update on his condition and insisting he had ‘turned a corner’.
Katie said in a YouTube video: ‘At the beginning of the week I was unsure what is happening with Harvey. He’s still not coming out of hospital.
‘They’ve discovered things about him and I’m not ready to reveal what they are… that’s all I can say, but he has turned a corner.’
As well as Katie, Harvey had been visited by his siblings including Jett and Bunny, who entertained him with songs and tricks.
It was the second hospital stint for Harvey, who was first admitted after falling ill at younger sister Princess’ 13th birthday celebrations last month. He was hospitalised for ‘urgent medical care’, but was sent home one day later.
