Katie Price has sparked breakup rumours from her boyfriend JJ Slater by posting a message on Instagram about ‘choosing herself.’
The former glamour model, 46, has been dating the Married At First Sight star JJ, 31, since early 2024, but now fans think the pair may have called it quits.
Katie hasn’t been seen with JJ in quite some time – unusual for the often-photographed couple – and took to Instagram today to share a mysterious message.
The reality TV star reshared a post on her Instagram story from the account @collectivehub which read: ‘She used to tolerate a lot because she didn’t want to lose people. She stayed quiet, overgave, and made excuses for others, thinking it was the only way to keep the peace. But now, she knows better.
‘She’s learned that constantly shrinking herself to make others comfortable only leads to losing the most important relationship of all-her relationship with herself. Now, she sets boundaries without guilt, speaks her truth, and protects her peace.
‘Because the people who truly value her will respect her limits, and the ones who don’t were never meant to stay. She’s no longer afraid of losing others-she’s finally found herself.’
The post, which is clearly about letting go of people that aren’t good for you, comes after The Sun reported that though JJ and Katie put on a united front at the Geordie Shore premiere earlier this month, ‘the couple were frosty with each other and spent most of the night apart.’
Katie and Kerry Katona were the pair who appeared inseparable at the launch as they held hands and smooched – making JJ look like a third wheel.
The duo recently starred in a 29-night run of Cinderella at Norwich Memorial Court together, playing the ugly step sisters, and it was clear they’re still very close, as they were even spotted having a natter on a vape break.
Katie has had quite an eventful last year, from being arrested at Heathrow Airport after failing to turn up to her bankruptcy hearing, to selling Mucky Mansion.
Recently, she talked about her recent weight loss to fans on Instagram, informing them she was planning to lift her buttocks.
In a video posted to her 2.7million Instagram followers, she said: ‘Oh she’s done it again! She’s closer to looking like a Bratz doll!’
Continuing to speak in third person, Katie said: ‘She’s done the lips at The Clinic Club. I just love it here, I’m obsessed with them.
‘That obsessed that where I’ve lost loads of weight, my arse is now sagging. I’ve got to have my bum filler done here. I can’t wait. Keep tuned. It’s not happening today, but I’m doing my bum.’
It remains unclear if JJ and Katie have called it quits, and the rumours come after the pair sparked engagement rumours in 2024.
Katie has been engaged eight times before and has three ex-husbands, including singer Peter Andre, MMA fighter Alex Reid, and former stripper Kieran Hayler.
