Earlier this week, Katie Price revealed the difficult decision that eldest son Harvey could be moved into part-time residential care as the 16-year-old had become a ‘danger to himself’.

The doting mum said her son, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, had been acting out at home because he wants to spend more time with her.

Highlighting just how difficult the decision will be for the mum-of-five, she previously vowed that she would never send him to a residential care home.

In a 2013 interview with the Guardian, Katie explained: ‘There are a lot of evil people out there. He’ll always live at home. He’s not leaving me.’

Appearing on the Victoria Derbyshire Show, Katie said her son had been smashing up TVs, windows and iPads in the house.

‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday,’ the 40-year-old explained.

In a big win for Katie Price last week, MPs backed her call for a law governing online abuse after her son Harvey had been subjected to years of trolling. ‘Because he knows if he kicks off then the driver won’t take him to school, he’s sussed that out and he’s missing out on his education. He just wants to be with me all the time.’

Katie opened up about how ‘hard’ it is to care for him, as well as her other children – Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny.

‘I’ve never had respite, I haven’t got a carer with him, I do it all myself,’ she said.

‘But I’m really having to think about it.’

‘I hate it, because he’s my life. Do you know what I mean? But I’ve got to do what’s best for him but it won’t be forever.’

In 2015, during a stint on Celebrity Big Brother, Katie revealed her local council pay to drive Harvey to and from school each day, and that it would cost her around £1,000 a day if she funded it herself.

Late last year, the former glamour model also revealed Harvey struggled when he was away from his siblings Princess and Junior after they went to live with dad Peter Andre.

Speaking on her reality show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life, she said: ‘Harvey’s been really lonely in the house without the other kids.’

Katie revealed she had bought Harvey, whose father is former Manchester United player Dwight Yorke, a German Shepard called Bear to keep him company.

She added: ‘I thought I’d get something to cheer him up, and I got Bear.’

A month later, Katie admitted Harvey was also getting bored after Jett and Bunny also went to visit dad Kieran.

‘Today, Jett and Bunny are with Kieran, Junior and Princess are with their dad and it’s days like this that Harvey gets really, really bored,’ Katie shared.

Meanwhile, Katie recently found herself hitting back at trolls after she filmed a tired Harvey in the back of the car, and told them they should try stepping into her shoes.

‘I’ve never exposed Harvey kicking off and when his behaviour is very challenging,’ she wrote.

‘If people knew how difficult it is you would certainly shout your mouth and twice twice judging me!’

‘Harvey is my total life and NOBODY knows how much I love him and what an amazing bond we have!’

The 40-year-old went on: ‘It takes a special person to care and look after a person with complex needs.

‘Frankly I suggest go help in a care home kids school with complex needs elderly and then comment what’s its like x”

Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Katie Price says she has ‘no choice’ but to move her son Harvey into part time care as her other children are ‘scared’ of him.

Katie said Harvey goes into his half-siblings’ rooms and wakes them up at night so they end up sleeping in the same room as their mum.

She said on This Morning: ‘At night I don’t get any sleep. He goes in the kids room, wakes them up, they’re scared and get in my room.

‘He’s my absolute life but he’s hard work now.’

Katie described caring for Harvey as ‘hard work’ (Picture: ITV)

Katie admitted that she does feel guilty about moving him to part time care, where he will board at his school from Monday to Friday.

‘I’ve never done respite care. I don’t want him to think I’m palming him off but I have no choice.

‘He can go to after school club. I know I can go up and have dinner with him and tuck him in.

‘He needs his education, he hasn’t been to school for two weeks.’

Speaking about how her other children react to him, she said: ‘They’re scared of him now because he’s so big and makes a big impact.

‘I can’t tell him off because he doesn’t understand. When he’s in that rage he’s in that rage.’

The Loose Women star said that Harvey has secured a place at his school.

‘I’m really nervous,’ she confessed.

An old interview with Katie highlighted how difficult the decision is for the mum-of-five, having previously vowed to never send him to a residential care home.

In a 2013 interview with the Guardian, Katie explained: ‘There are a lot of evil people out there. He’ll always live at home. He’s not leaving me.’

Katie Price’s boyfriend Kris Boyson has been spotted taking his gal’s trademark pink Range Rover for a spin.

The fitness fanatic was heading home from the gym when he was seen behind the wheel of the former glamour model’s pride and joy.

After what we can only imagine was a strenuous workout, the 27-year-old quickly left the building before getting into the vehicle.

He then went to check his phone for any notifications while sat in the car park.

Kris and Katie have had an on and off relationship ever since they first got together back in June last year.

Following their first four months together, the pair decided to go their separate ways after a romantic holiday in Thailand.

However, despite their separation, it seems the loved up couple are back on, and even stronger than ever.

Taking his boyfriend duties to heart, it’s thought that Kris is currently driving Katie around after she was granted a three month driving ban back in January.

However, despite his best efforts, the pair were smacked with a parking ticket during a night out in Liverpool.

Sharing a photo of the parking ticket on his Instagram account on Saturday, Katie’s friend, Celebrity Big Brother star Austin Armacost, said: ‘Check the signs next time!’

Katie has been chauffeur-driven around in recent weeks after being slapped with the driving ban and made to pay a £1,000 fine.

Last month, Katie listed one of her cars up for sale on eBay with bids reaching more than £60,000 in six hours.

Addressing her driving ban, Katie said on Loose Women last week: ‘That was…it was all to do with a different date. They said I was driving with no insurance.

‘The conviction date was January so I was banned for six months. So if you look at that date I thought I was able to drive. It was only by two weeks.’

She continued: ‘So they didn’t give me points, I was banned for three months. Which is good. Well, it’s not good. It is what it is.

‘I don’t use the cars. I bought that car for my German shepherds.’

Katie Price announces new children’s clothing business venture after bankruptcy drama

Katie Price hasn’t let the prospect of bankruptcy stop her from embarking on a new business venture.

The former model announced that she will be launching a children’s clothing line, inspired by her daughters Princess and Bunny.

The 40-year-old, who spent much of 2018 battling bankruptcy, announced the news on her Instagram page. Posting a cute video featuring Bunny, her youngest daughter, she captioned it: ‘Been working on @princessandbunny.co.uk for year now. My kidswear brand launching in April. If you want your Child aged 4-14 to model at my fashion show please email: audition@princessandbunny.co.uk.’

As one in four carers say they are close to breaking point and haven?t had a day off in more than five years, Katie Price has made the brave admission that she also struggles to cope and has made the decision to put her son into residential care. The disability rights campaigner and mother-of-five says Harvey - who has a number of medical conditions - is a danger to not only himself but the rest of the family. Joining Katie is agony aunt Deidre Sanders, who says getting professional help is the right thing to do, no matter how heartbreaking the decision is.

In the clip, her four-year-old daughter can be seen flicking through a rack of clothes as she teases her mum’s followers with the new fashion line.

Her followers are excited by the prospect of new clothes and modelling. ‘Amazing would love my lil girl to model for your girls clothes,’ one mum wrote.

And others are looking out for a boys range, as another posted: ‘Good luck with your new venture! Can’t wait for a boys range, I will look out for that. Best of luck x.’

‘Lovely seeing her being a normal little girl, happy loving dressing up,’ an Instagram user said.

This isn’t the first time the former model ventured into business. She’s tried her hand at a variety of projects, including writing books, designing her own perfume and launching a ‘boutique’ iPod line, complete with her trademark butterflies, hearts and stars.

In December last year Price managed to avoid being formally declared bankrupt after she reached a payment plan with her creditors.

The reality star was facing debts of £22,000.

Price, who has five child, had reportedly fallen on tough financial times and made attempts to sell her £2million West Sussex mansion as well as an £100k Audi she once bought second hand for ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

She recently admitted to staging paid photoshoots with paparazzi after a few raunchy images emerged from her getaway with her on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Katie has always been very proud of her reputation as a successful businesswoman, despite everything else that has been said about her.

‘She’s tried everything possible to avoid bankruptcy and has spent weeks trying to put off what was becoming increasingly inevitable, but this hearing could be the end of that last hope of saving it. ‘She is going to have to face the music.’

Katie Price boogies her cares away on deserted student nightclub dance floor

Katie Price was in the partying mood as she cut a rug at a student nightclub meet and greet this week.

Even though she’s a very busy lady, what with her new business pursuits and what not, she still had time for the fans as she donned a bright green sweater dress, a pair of sneakers and headed to Oxford.

Cutting all the angles at The Bridge Club, the 40-year-old mother-of-five was looking to have the time of her life, even though the dancefloor looked a little empty.

The only one dancing at the time, Katie paid no mind to the fact she wasn’t surrounded by people – just a bunch of pleather seats that might have been packed with snogging students just hours before.

Still, she pulled up her hair and showed off a range of animated facial expressions, before she was picked up by boyfriend Kris Boyson on her pink Range Rover.

Having been in court for driving offences, seems it was best Kris got behind the wheel, as Katie looked pretty chuffed to have her man acting as her ride before the two took off back to Pricey mansion.

It seems the former glamour model is keen to move on from the rather turbulent 2018 that saw her face drink driving charges, risk bankruptcy and attend rehab for treatment of PTSD.

Putting it all behind her this week, to boost up the coffers alongside the lucrative nightclub PA gigs, Katie announced that she will be launching a children’s clothing line, inspired by her daughters Princess, 11, and Bunny, four.

She announced the news on her Instagram page, posting a cute video featuring Bunny and captioning it: ‘Been working on @princessandbunny.co.uk for year now. My kidswear brand launching in April…’

This isn’t the first time the former model ventured into business. She was worth over £40million once, so she knows a thing or two about a deal, having tried her hand at a variety of projects, including writing books, designing her own perfume and launching a ‘boutique’ iPod line, complete with her trademark butterflies, hearts and stars.

Heartbreaking, though, she admitted last week she is considering placing her 16-year-old son Harvey into part-time care due to her fear of him hurting himself or his siblings.

The teen, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, may board at his school Monday-Friday – but it’s not a decision Katie, who also has sons Junior, 13, and Jett, five, has taken lightly.

‘I’ve never done respite care. I don’t want him to think I’m palming him off but I have no choice,’ she said last week.

‘He can go to after school club. I know I can go up and have dinner with him and tuck him in.

‘He needs his education, he hasn’t been to school for two weeks.’

Katie Price has taken terminally ill mum Amy on a ‘final’ holiday to Spain, along with her step-dad, Paul, and on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson.

And it seems like the gang are enjoying spending quality time together in Malaga, on Amy’s ‘bucket list’ trip.

Katie, 40, has been sharing glimpses as she relaxed by a homely fireplace, having a catch-up with her mum.

While beau Kris posted pictures of himself enjoying a beer in the sunshine, before jumping into a pool to cure his hangover.

Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017, an incurable condition which causes scarring to the lungs makes it difficult to breathe.

An insider recently revealed the Loose Women star is desperate to make the most of the time she has left with her mum, following the news.

And the family have been joined by the cameras for her reality TV show to ‘capture’ their memories.

‘Katie wants to make the most of the time her mum has left, so it’s a sort of “bucket list” trip,’ they told The Sun.

‘Katie’s painfully aware that every holiday could be her mum’s last so taking the reality show cameras with them on the holiday will be a way of capturing precious memories.’

Katie is determined to spend quality time with mum Amy (Picture: Instagram)

The mum-of-five previously opened up about coming to terms with Amy’s condition, explaining the slightest thing could make it worse.

In a chat with Now magazine, she explained: ‘My mum is dying, it’s that simple. They normally diagnose three to five years but Mum has already had to change her life. She’s sold her house because of the stairs.

‘But she could get a cold now, not get rid of it, and die within a month – that’s how bad it is. ‘Will a lung transplant help? I don’t know. Either way, she hasn’t got long.’

Katie first spoke out about the diagnosis in 2017, revealing the family were working alongside the British Lung Foundation in a bid to raise awareness.

‘Just to clarify for all of you reading. My mum has been diagnosed with a lung disease called Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) there is unfortunately no known cure for this,’ she posted on Twitter at the time.

‘As a shock to us all, Me and my family are proud to be supporting the British Lung Foundation to help support awareness and raising funds for research of IPF. With this we can help in other diagnosis and create awareness for people with IPF.

‘The condition has an average life expectancy of 3-5 years. There are two known pills which if they work can slow things down. My mum is a fighter she is working out every day, going to work and living life to the full please help us in supporting The British Lung Foundation so we can make a difference.’

Katie Price recently revealed she was thinking of placing son Harvey in part-time residential care, after explaining the teenager had been ‘smashing things up’ at home.

And the mum-of-five gave fans a glimpse at a broken window in her kitchen on Instagram, amid claims the 16-year-old – who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome – smashed it.

The 40-year-old shared a photo of herself getting ready to feed dogs Bear and Sparkle, with her 1.9million followers.

In the corner of the picture, a window could be seen with cardboard taped in front of it, suggesting it has been broken.

An insider told The Sun Harvey has ‘smashed up pretty much every window’ in Katie’s home, leaving her to ‘install Perspex screens over the TVs’.

‘Harvey has smashed pretty much every window in the house and has caused £7k damage,’ they claimed.

‘The windows now just get covered with cardboard when he breaks down because it’s too difficult to constantly replace them.’

Katie herself opened up about the teenager – whom she shares with Dwight Yorke – smashing up TVs and iPads in her home, leading her to consider moving him into residential care during the week.

Kieran Hayler revealed he has ‘become a dad again’ in a surprising post on Instagram.

In a post shared on his Instagram page, Katie Price’s ex simply told fans: ‘So I have kept this very quiet but I have become a daddy again!!!!’

The 31-year-old – who is dating Michelle Pentecost – sent us all into a spin with the news, before revealing it was his dogs, Tinks and Kevin, who had actually added to their brood, with seven new puppies.

Kieran shared the news on social media (Picture: Instagram)

To be fair, the puppies are just about cute enough to make up for the chaos.

Just.

Kieran started dating Michelle, 36, last year, following his split from Katie Price.

The pair first met back in June, at the front gates of son Jett’s primary school, and have been sharing loved-up photos on social media ever since.

Despite only being together a few months, the couple sparked engagement rumours after Michelle was spotted wearing what appeared to be a diamond rock on her wedding finger.

However, an insider at the time explained he is still dealing with his divorce from Katie – with whom he shares two children – and that any talk of an engagement is ‘premature’.

Kieran’s baby fake-out comes after Katie revealed she is pressing on with her plans to adopt a Nigerian orphan.

The mum-of-five recently announced she wanted to expand her brood once more and was looking into adopting after meeting a woman in her nail shop.

And, during an appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire show, she revealed she has moved forward with her plans.

‘I met a lady, yes,’ the 40-year-old explained. ‘But in some countries… It’s easier to adopt a child abroad but it’s hard to get them in the country.

‘And in England it’s even harder to try and adopt.

‘I would love to adopt, I still want my own, and I don’t care if they’ve got disabilities or anything. I’m just so loving and I just want to offer a home for a child that is not wanted.’

When questioned over how many kids she would like to have, she told the host: ‘In my head, it’s like.. When Junior gets older, he’ll leave home… it’s a conveyor belt.

‘I’ve got 11 bedrooms to fill.’

Katie Price looked filming her toned down holiday with on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson in a camper van.

Last year they famously spent the summer fondling each other around Thailand in a series of pap shots.

But things have changed after they were spotted keeping it lowkey in a motorhome in a very cloudy looking Spain shooting scenes for Katie’s reality show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life.

The 40-year-old’s terminally-ill mother Amy, 67, has been whisked off on a ‘bucket-list’ trip to ‘capture precious moments,’ after Amy was diagnosed with an incurable lung disease.

The motorhome – believed to be a Hobby Optima Deluxe T65 GE – seemed to be the ultimate way to travel, as it boasts a hefty price tag for Katie with it costing around £65,000.

Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017, an incurable condition which causes scarring to the lungs making it difficult to breathe.

An insider recently revealed the Loose Women star is desperate to make the most of the time she has left with her mum following the news.

Katie is determined to spend quality time with mum Amy (Picture: Instagram)

Katie Price sure knows how to ignite debate as she gets daughter Princess pet hedgehog

Sorry, this video isn't available any more.

Fans were divided as they launched into a debate this weekend over whether or not Katie Price should have gifted her daughter a hedgehog.

Katie took to social media on Saturday to show the world she had given 11-year-old Princess a little prickly hedgehog as a pet and despite the child looking purely elated with her new friend, fans wondered whether it was the best thing to get a pre-teen.

A video was shared in which Katie captioned it: ‘Princess and her pet hedgehog Peggy.’

Zoning in on the two chums in the quiet clip, Peggy was seen sweetly sitting in Princess’ lap as she nuzzled her hand.

The camera then switched around to Katie’s son Jett, five, who asked whether she knew what the new pet’s name was.

Announcing it as Peggy, the little one looked pretty taken with the new family addition, which joined a whole menagerie including Harvey’s pet turtle Gummy Bear and Katie’s horses and dogs.

Taking Katie out of the equation, however, because apparently mothers don’t know best or something, many said it was a foolish idea to bring a hedgehog into the house. That was even though many suggested it was an African Pygmy hedgehog, which is a domesticated breed of the animal.

One was worried Katie’s post may encourage others to go and buy one without thinking properly about how to keep one safely: ‘No, just no! Hedgehogs, Pygmy or not should not be popularised into being the new celebrity accessory!’

We’re going to hazard a guess Katie doesn’t really care – especially when many of her loyal fans jumped to her defence.

‘It’s an African Pygmy hedgehog I have one myself these would not survive in the wild they need a vivarium and constant warmth!’ one wrote, seemingly knowing what they were talking about. ‘Some people as so ignorant!’

Another was on the mother’s side as they commented: ‘Awww! Welcome to the club! You’re going to love her!’

Guess we’ll now prep ourselves to see a whole lot more of Peggy on social media.

Katie Price has gone full mama bear, and for good reason, after her 16-year-old son Harvey was the target of horrific trolls this weekend.

The former glamour model, 40, let her thoughts known as she named and shamed some social media users who shared a horrible meme of her teenage son – who has Prader-Willi syndrome, is partially-blind and autistic – superimposed on a shot of the so-called ‘Jihadi bride’ Shamima Begum.

Not afraid to broadcast the names of the people who shared the image on Facebook to her 1.9million followers on Instagram, Katie hit back with a message of her own.

‘This is why I need to get online abuse a criminal offence,’ she wrote alongside a crying emoji. ‘These people should be named and shamed saying stuff about my son @harveyprice.’

She also posted the same shot to Harvey’s own channel, as his caption read: ‘Why do this to me.’

Katie has been extremely vocal over the past year about her mission to make online trolling and abuse a criminal offence – receiving support from MPs in the process.

She was backed by politicians after previously appearing in parliament to give evidence after more than 200,000 people signed her petition, demanding that trolling should be officially criminalised.

Katie Price with her son Harvey leaves Portcullis House in London after giving evidence to the Commons Petitions Committee where she called for online abuse to be made a specific offence.

And, according to BBC, MPs are now calling for the government to change hate crime laws in order to give disabled people more protection.

More than happy to call out those who come for her son, Katie was also left fuming in December when a man wore a Christmas jumped that poked fun at Harvey and his disability.

The shirt sported a picture of Harvey, along with a quote that said ‘Ho Ho Hello You C**ts’, which is something Harvey said while on Loose Women. He uttered the phrase on the ITV show when he was asked what he would say if ‘someone said something horrible’ to him and replied: ‘Hello you c**nts.’

Very understandably, Katie was not impressed by the festive jumper, and took to social media to slam the man – and any others who felt it alright to make fun of her son in the video posted online.

‘Why do people continue to mock my son,’ she wrote alongside a link to an article on the video.

‘If these people met Harvey they would feel disgusted!’

I judged Katie Price for wanting to put Harvey in residential care, until I put myself in her shoes

When I think of residential care I cannot help but associate them with exclusion, segregation and isolation from mainstream society (Photo: WENN)

Would you ever consider putting your child into residential care?

This is the decision some parents are having to make, including Loose Women star Katie Price, who recently admitted she is thinking of putting her 16 year old son Harvey, who was born with a variety of complex needs, into residential care as he is increasingly becoming a danger to himself.

I have to confess, I battled my own prejudices when I heard the news.

As someone who was born with mobility impairment osteogenesis impefecta, the thought of my mother even thinking about taking me out of the family home and putting me into a strange environment would have devastated me and left me feeling like a burden and simply unwanted.

As a disability campaigner I fight hard for the rights of the disabled community and to change perceptions and misconceptions about what it means to be disabled.

I campaign to show that people with disabilities can live full and meaningful lives and having a disabled child does not have to mean a life sentence for them and their families.

When I think of residential care I cannot help but associate them with exclusion, segregation and isolation from mainstream society and the historical parallels of the ‘asylums’ that once existed for people that were mentality ill and those who had learning disabilities.

Fortunately, ‘asylums’ were abolished in the early 1980s after a series of scandals revealed neglect and abuse and the Jay Report encouraged the ‘care in the community’ programme, a system of care and support for people with disabilities and mental illness, which believed that people with disabilities should live within the community instead of segregated.

I am in no doubt that if you support families by giving them the tools and emotional support needed to care for their child with a disability they would not have to feel like they are failing as parents.

I was very conflicted. I had to ask whether my concerns towards residential care were well founded? We are living in a very different time and attitudes towards the disabled community have come a long way after all.

Was I judging those families who have decided to seek out residential care for their loved ones too harshly?

I turned to my auntie who has had to make that exact decision for my cousin who was born with Down’s syndrome and other severe cognitive impairments. Similar to Katie’s son, Harvey, my cousin had become increasingly dangerous, not only to herself, but to others around her.

She was incredibly strong and she needed 24 hour care. My auntie and uncle, who also have two other children, struggled to give her the care she so desperately needed and deserved.

It was by no means an easy decision to make but actually my cousin flourished in residential care as she had all the resources she needed all the time.

I came to the realisation that putting a child into residential care is by no means the ‘easy-way out!’ These parents are just like any other parents who simply love their children dearly and want the best possible life for them. Making such a decision can be one of the hardest things they ever have to do.

Residential care would not be the right choice for someone like myself but I know that for some it would actually enhance their quality of life and provide them with the care and support they desperately need.

I would say that I have set aside the prejudices I previously had towards families that used residential facilities and now wholeheartedly respect and value their individual choices. We can never judge someone’s decisions when we don’t live their lives and do not have their shared experiences.

Nevertheless, I do still feel as though we as a society need to support families and individuals who have disabilities so that residential care isn’t left as the only way parents feel they can ensure their children have the best care.

Research by the Disabled Children’s Partnership (DCP) found that 97 per cent of parents with a disabled child say that the public do not understand the challenges they face every day. The DCP also identified a £1.5m funding gap for disabled children’s health and social care.

Stephen Kingdom, Campaign Manager for the Disabled Children’s Partnership, said:

‘The number of disabled children in this country is on the rise. It’s therefore vital that the number of support services keeps pace, making help available to the children and young people and their families who need extra support.

‘We often hear that parents battle with a sense of guilt about not being able to meet their child’s needs and that they are continually fighting for extra help. Services like short respite breaks can help to reduce some of the pressure and anxiety that can build within a family when caring for a child with a disability.’

The charity disability charity Scope also recognises this shortfall of services to support disabled children and their families, stating in their Now is The Time report that £433 million extra is needed for social care. The funding needed would plug the gap in services such as specialist equipment, speech therapy and short breaks.

I am in no doubt that if you support families by giving them the tools and emotional support needed to care for their child with a disability they would not have to feel like they are failing as parents.

I wonder if the full support was given to these families whether they would reconsider residential care for their children?

Peter Andre was ‘clueless’ over Katie Price setting up clothing boutiques using their children’s names

Peter Andre was reportedly clueless over Katie Price’s new business venture that has seen her set up two clothing boutiques named after the ex-couple’s children.

The pair share son Junior, 13 and daughter Princess, 11, and sources have claimed to The Sun that Katie didn’t ask Peter’s permission to use their children’s names for her new businesses and he instead found out through social media.

Katie is planning to launch two clothing boutiques tailored to kidswear for both girls and boys and has used her children’s names to label each setup.

The girls’ boutique is called Princess and Bunny, while the boys’ boutique is Junior and Jett.

Katie is mum to daughter Bunny, four, and son Jett, five, from her previous marriage to ex Kieran Hayler. She also has teen son Harvey, 16, from her her previous relationship with Dwight Yorke.

The former glamour model revealed via Instagram that she has been working on her new business for over a year now and is ‘excited’ to see it launch in a few months time.

Throwing herself into her new venture, Katie has been promoting her boutiques, set to launch in April, across social media and has reportedly teased that Harvey will be getting his own clothing line too.

Metro.co.uk have contacted a rep for Katie for comment.

Katie had spent much of 2018 battling financial trouble and managed to avoid being declared bankrupt in December.

The reality star was facing debts of £22,000, but reached an agreed payment plan with her creditors.

At the time, reports alleged Katie had made attempts to sell her £2million West Sussex mansion, as well as an £100k Audi she once bought for ex-husband Kieran.

On top of her financial struggles, Katie was forced to go to rehab to treat PTSD following a drink-drive incident.

She was urged by her family to seek help after turning to drugs amid problems with her exes and after her mum Amy was diagnosed with a terminal lung illness.

Documenting her rehab stint on her reality show My Crazy Life, Katie said: ‘So much bad stuff was happening, I was finding it hard to cope and when that coke video came out, I was like, “Wow, enough is enough. I have to check myself into The Priory, this isn’t good.”

‘Treatment has 100% changed my outlook.’

Katie has since turned her attentions to making online trolling a criminal offence after her son Harvey has been targeted by horrible trolling online.

She has already received the support of MPs, who are now calling for the government to change hate crime laws in order to give disabled people more protection.

Fans slam Katie Price for posting pic of son Harvey with smashed up iPad and glasses

Katie Price has been called out for setting disabled son Harvey up to be trolled, after posting a picture of him with a smashed up iPad and thick glasses.

The mother-of-five, who has been campaigning against online bullying since last year, shocked fans with her choice of outfit and props for her eldest son who was born with the genetic disorder Prader-Willi syndrome and is partially blind.

Taking to Harvey’s own Instagram account, Katie posted a photo of the 16-year-old with a huge bow tie, comical thick rimmed green glasses and a smashed iPad in the background, captioning the shot ‘Morning’.

The former glamour model recently revealed that she was considering putting Harvey into part-time residential care after explaining that the teen had been ‘smashing things’ up at home.

Instagram Photo

She also opened up about an incident which had left his younger siblings scared, after Harvey smashed eight iPads and TVs around the house.

Fans were quick to turn on the Katie, who shares Harvey with footballer Dwight Yorke, labeling the move ‘shocking’ and ‘unfair’.

One fan wrote: ‘I don’t agree with this sometimes things go too far i’m 29 and I’ve got autism so many people on social media are taking the Pi*** out of Harvey Poor Harvey.

While another one posted: ‘Shocking how much his mum tries to make him look like a fool for social media attention.’

‘She’s doing this so people can troll then she gets on her high horse and gets them done. Poor lad,’ wrote another.

One person pleaded with Katie to consider Harvey’s age before posting, commenting: ‘I’m certainly not attacking or trolling him. That’s disgusting to abuse anyone online I feel for him.

‘I think his mum allows things online that shouldn’t be for the sake of Harvey’s age and respect him as a normal teen boy.’

Katie PriceKatie Price defends son again in the face of horrible online trolling

The Instagram picture comes just days after Katie lashed out at online trolls over a viral meme of Harvey dressed up as a Jihadi bride with the words ‘let me back, you c***’ emblazoned over it.

Katie has recently been gathering support from MPs to make cyber bulling a crime under a new legistlation called Harvey’s Law.

Her petition had garnered over 220,000 signatures before being closed early due to the 2017 elections.

Committee chair Helen Jones MP spoke on Katie’s proposals, saying: ‘The law on online abuse is not fit for purpose and it is truly shameful that disabled people have been forced off social media while their abusers face no consequences.

‘There is no excuse for the continued failure to make online platforms as safe for disabled people. Self-regulation has failed disabled people and the law must change to ensure more lives are not destroyed.’

New Celebs Go Dating coach Anna Williamson on replacing Nadia Essex and wanting Katie Price in the agency

Celebs Go Dating is finally back on our screens, with a new batch of famous faces looking to find love – and being torn apart by voiceover star Rob Beckett as they do.

As well as the mostly new cast – hello again, Sam Thompson – there has also been a change in the dating coaches, after Nadia Essex was replaced by Anna Williamson at the end of last year.

And, speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk and others, the qualified therapist confessed she was ‘apprehensive’ about filling in for the pair, especially when the show has been on screens for so long.

She said: ‘I bloody love it. I’m very blessed to have dabbled in TV for 18 years, and then began training to be a life coach and focusing on mental health and relationships, but never thought they would collide together on one show. To be asked to join as a new agent was great.

‘Of course. I’m really transparent about that. Coming in on season six on a show that has a loyal fan base, and everyone was massive fans of Eden and Nadia, I thought they did a cracking job, I guess I just wanted to do the role justice,’ the 37-year-old told us.

‘There is a pressure to not cock it up, but also not copy and bring your own fresh flavour, and to be respectful to the situation. I have had to council and therapy myself really in order to handle it because it has been a tricky and challenging situation but we are beyond that now, and I definitely don’t feel like the new girl now

‘I bring a very new approach to the show. I am very different to my predecessors, as is Paul which we hope the fans of the show will get on board with.’

Despite being the newbie on the series, and having some pretty epic shoes to fill, she revealed she has ‘loved’ coming on board.

‘I bloody love it. I’m very blessed to have dabbled in TV for 18 years, and then began training to be a life coach and focusing on mental health and relationships, but never thought they would collide together on one show,’ she continued. ‘To be asked to join as a new agent was great.

Anna revealed who she wants to see on the show next (Picture: Getty)

‘I’ve absolutely loved it, I watched the show as a fan for years.’

Celebs Go Dating has had some pretty huge names walk into the agency over the last few years, including Charlotte Crosby, Gemma Collins, Sam Thompson, Olivia Atwood, and Sam once again.

This year’s selection is no different, with Megan McKenna, Pete Wicks, Kerry Katona and – you guessed it – Sam Thompson, hoping the dating coaches can help them find love.

But Anna has revealed she has her own set of famous faces she would love to see come through the infamous doors.

And it’s a pretty good list.

Could you see Katie Price on Celebs Go Dating? (Picture: Rex)

When asked who her ‘hit list’ would be, she said: ‘Katie Price would be wow, up there as a challenge, and I have so much empathy for her. But I think if we can work our magic on Kerry Katona, I say bring it on Katie.

‘I also know this one personally, I think Vicky Pattison as she has gone through a public break up recently, depending on where she is, I think we could have a really good time. I would want to work on her self confidence

‘I see celebs go through a break up and my first thought is, they would be great for Celebs Go Dating.’

And she wants a former contestant to return to the show, after a very public break-up.

‘I would also like to see Ferne McCann back as well, as we saw everything that happened with her and her ex, so I would like to see her again now maybe in a bit of a Chelsee [Healey] situation, doing it as a single mum to a one year old, looking fresh and looking banging,’ she added.

‘These are the ones on my hit list.’

That would all make for a pretty epic series.

Celebs Go Dating starts on 24 February, at 9pm, on E4.

Katie Price ‘staying positive’ as she prepares for drink-driving trial to start in London

Katie Price has reassured her followers she is ‘thinking positive’ ahead of her drink-driving trial, which starts today.

The former Loose Women host will appear at Bexleyheath Magistrates’ Court at 10am on Monday for a hearing regarding her arrest in October on suspicion of drink-driving, following an incident on Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich.

In a poignant Instagram post, Katie shared a photo of her beloved pink Range Rover and stated she was ready for whatever outcome after the trial hearing.

Katie wrote: ‘Massive day tomorrow back in court regarding my pink baby that @dannyscustompaint fixed up for me.

Instagram Photo

‘Whatever the outcome I’ll continue to be my new positive self.’

In October, Katie was arrested after police noticed her famous car had been parked off-road at around 2am.

During a hearing over the incident in January, Bromley Magistrates’ Court heard that the Range Rover’s bumper was damaged and a local resident alleged to have pink paint on the bumper of his own car.

Katie vehemently denies crashing the car and any intention to drive while intoxicated.

At the time, a Met Police spokesperson said: ‘At approximately 2am British Transport Police officers came across a car showing signs of damage stationary at the roadside in Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich.

‘A 40-year-old woman who was inside the car was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She was taken to a south London police station where she remains. Enquiries continue.’

Since her temporary driving ban, Katie has been spotted being chauffeur driven around by her boyfriend Kris Boyson, and has used a car service.

The 40-year-old mother arrived at Bexley Magistrates’ Court dressed more formally than her previous court appearances, wearing a smart navy blazer, with the tags still on, a white blouse, black trousers and a pair of big sunglasses.

She played with her hair and appeared to carry only a phone.

Katie was originally arrested on suspicion of drink driving last year following an alleged incident on Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich, and pleaded not guilty to an earlier hearing in January.

In October last year, Katie was arrested after police noticed her famous car had been parked off-road at around 2am.

Former glamour model Katie spent 13 hours at Plumstead police station before being released and was later charged by postal requisition two months later in December. If found guilty of drink driving, she faces an automatic driving ban.

It’s not Katie’s first brush with the law after she was previously banned from driving last year for six months after she was caught driving 60mph in a 50mph zone.

The star was pictured driving two weeks before the end of the ban, but Katie turned herself in to police, saying she had been driving her son Harvey to the hospital and was confused over the end date of her ban.

Katie was also banned from driving back in 2012 after failing to respond to two speeding tickets.

Bexley Magistrates’ Court has heard details of how police officers found ‘drunk Katie Price slumped in the back seat of her vomit-covered’ Range Rover, as the 40-year-old’s drink driving trial continues.

The mother-of-five is currently having her day in court on Monday over charges stemming from an October incident that saw her pink car crash in the early hours of the morning.

Police Constables Benjamin Jones and Balvinder Mann explained in court how they first saw Katie’s car veer off the road and hit a grass verge at 12.40am before seeing it stationary about 15 minutes later.

PC Jones told the court that he approached the car to find Katie in the back of the vehicle with her boyfriend, Kris Boyson, in the passenger seat – both claiming their friend was driving and had ‘run off’.

‘Her eyes were blurred and her speech was a bit slurred. Although she was sitting, it was in a slumped position,’ PC Jones told the court. ‘I could smell alcohol. In my opinion she was drunk.’

PC Jones added: ‘I also noticed what appeared to be sick on the outside of the car.’

It was claimed the 40-year-old alleged a ‘mystery man’ was actually behind the wheel when she crashed near Woolwich in October last year, following a night drinking ‘porn star martinis’.

The court heard her boyfriend Kris Boyson told Katie to ‘shut up’ when officers asked questions on the scene.

‘Katie Price was clearly drunk, with blood-shot eyes, slurred speech, and she smelled of alcohol’, said Prosecutor Sonya Saul.

‘The account given by Mr Boyson was that a friend had been driving, they had started to argue and the friend pulled over and ran off, taking the keys with him.

‘Both Katie Price and Kris Boyson said the friend had been driving the Range Rover, but when Katie Price spoke Kris Boyson told her to shut up which made PC Jones suspect there was no third person.

‘PC Mann did ask for the name of the driver, but Mr Boyson refused to give it. He said he would never give the name as he was not a grass.

‘Katie Price said she didn’t know the name of the driver, he was a friend of Kris Boyson.’

Courts correspondent Tristan Kirk also added press was ‘asked to leave’ the court room and they were being ‘treated poorly’ at Bexley Magistrates’ Court, as he live tweeted the proceedings.

‘The last we heard was Katie Price (defendant) asking if we could leave, and court staff saying OK,’ he wrote. ‘I’m not suggesting that was the actual reason, but in the absence of any other explanation…’.

He added: ‘Press were allowed in moments before Price entered her not guilty plea and the prosecution opened the case, but no explanation at all for why we were held outside while everyone passed in and out of the courtroom.’

This morning Katie arrived at Bexley Magistrates’ Court  dressed more formally than her previous court appearances, wearing a smart navy blazer, with the tags still on, a white blouse, black trousers and a pair of big sunglasses.

She played with her hair and appeared to carry only a phone.

Katie was originally arrested on suspicion of drink driving last year following an alleged incident on Shooters Hill Road, Woolwich, and pleaded not guilty to an earlier hearing in January.

The court was today told Katie was ‘shoeless’ when she was arrested.

During a hearing over the incident in January, Bromley Magistrates’ Court heard that the Range Rover’s bumper was damaged and a local resident alleged to have pink paint on the bumper of his own car.

The star is currently serving a ban for driving while uninsured, and vehemently denies drink driving and the charge of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.

UPDATE: Katie Price has been convicted of being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle, and will be sentenced later Monday afternoon.

Earlier Katie Price was cleared of drink driving, with the judge overseeing her trial finding ‘no case’.

The 40-year-old was present in Bexley Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with both drink driving and being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle.

According to courts correspondent, Tristan Kirk, the judge found there was no case to answer or evidence as to who was driving the pink Range Rover when it crashed in October last year.

‘Katie Price cleared of drink driving after the judge said there was no case to answer – no evidence of who had been driving the Range Rover before the police arrived,’ the Evening Standard reporter tweeted from the court room.
