Katie has been given another chance (Picture: Rex Features)
Katie Price has been spared bankruptcy for now, after she was granted another five weeks to pay back debts.
During her hearing at a specialist insolvency and companies court, as part of a High Court hearing in central London today, the 40-year-old was due to present an individual voluntary agreement (IVA) after originally being given 12 weeks to pay back creditors or come up with a plan.
Mother-of-five Katie has fallen on tough financial times as of late, as she reportedly attempts to sell her £2million West Sussex mansion, which has fallen into disrepair.
She’s also admitted recently to staging paid photoshoots with paps, after some raunchy images emerged from her sexy getaway with ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson.
A source told The Sun of the star’s money woes: ‘Katie has always been very proud of her reputation as a successful businesswoman, despite everything else that has been said about her.
‘She’s tried everything possible to avoid bankruptcy and has spent weeks trying to put off what was becoming increasingly inevitable, but this hearing could be the end of that last hope of saving it.
‘She is going to have to face the music.’
The former model and presenter was once believed to be worth £45million, after creating a rather lucrative career in glamour modelling in the 90s.
Reps for Katie declined to comment when contacted by Metro.co.uk.

Is Katie planning her comeback? (Picture: Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)
Katie Price might have the ticket to plotting her comeback after a pretty dire year.
The 40-year-old is said to be planning an explosive tell-all book to turn things around, and it will document all of the troubles she’s faced in the last 12 months.
The mother-of-five has been staring down the barrel of possible bankruptcy for the last few months, having been given 12 weeks to work on paying back the money she owes.
Having now been afforded a five week extension, it’s been claimed she plans to share the details of her terrible year, which has included being caught rapping about loving coke and hitting rock bottom financially, while simultaneously earning herself some much needed dosh.
The book will be the seventh she’s written since 2004, and it’s said to currently be called ‘The Year From Hell.’
An insider told The Sun: ‘It’s got a working title of The Year From Hell – and that’s no understatement when it comes to what Katie has endured, even by her rollercoaster of a life.
‘She’s been working with a ghostwriter and found it easy to get a book deal. She’s telling people she thinks it’ll be enough to live on for the next two years and pay off some of her debts.’
The book will reportedly lift the lid on her relationship with Kieran (PIcture: Ray Tang via ZUMA Wire)
The book is said to be taking aim at Peter Andre, Kieran Hayler, and the bankruptcy issues she’s faced, perhaps with a look at her more recent relationships too.
The insider added: ‘She sees the book as revenge for all the other men in her life who’ve not treated her well.
‘She feels she has nothing to lose.’
Katie’s financial issues spiralled this year, with her reportedly putting her Sussex home on the market, as well as selling her animals and horse box.
In a bid to make ends meet she’s also admitted recently to staging paid photoshoots with paps, after some raunchy images emerged from her sexy getaway with ex-boyfriend Kris Boyson.
She’s not only suffered money woes though, having been admitted to the Priory to undergo treatment for PTSD. In September she was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after being found in her Range Rover after it had hit a parked car and crashed into a bush.
Furthering plans for a comeback, she’s also said to be in talks to appear on Ex On The Beach, with an insider claiming: ‘Katie is perfect for Ex On The Beach, she’s fiery, flirty and she’s got more ex boyfriends than you could shake a stick at,’ an insider claimed.
They revealed bosses have been trying to get the I’m A Celebrity star on board for a stint on the beach for a while, and believe it’s the perfect time after her split from Kris Boyson and Alex Adderson.
‘She’s a signing they’ve been trying to get for a while and now she’s single again, bosses are hoping she could come on board,’ they added to The Sun.
‘As for that long list of ex-boyfriends, fans would be on the edge of their seats waiting to which one of them would be walking out of the sea to confront her!’
Reps have been contacted by Metro.co.uk.

Katie celebrating with her kids this Halloween (Picture: Getty Images)
Katie Price has returned to Instagram after taking a seven week break while facing money troubles.
The reality TV star is having some much-needed family time, sharing a photo of two of her children from her marriage to ex Kieran Hayler – dressed up for Halloween.
Five-year-old Jett sported a wolf mask and four-year-old Bunny was dressed up to the nines in a pink witch outfit, both cuddling up to their grandmother Amy in the adorable family snap.
Despite her ‘year from hell’, Katie made it clear she’s focusing on her family right now, captioning one of her photos: ‘What it’s all about.’
In another cute photo of Bunny, Katie also wished her fans a ‘Happy Halloween’ from the family.
Fans were quick to share the love and come to the mother of five’s defence.
One commented: ‘Happy Halloween! Great to see you back,’ while another criticised trolls in the comments, writing: ‘Give the woman a break and let her put her life back together.’
She also shared a photo of her son Harvey’s spooky black cat drawing.
After facing money troubles, the star reportedly tried to sell her £2 million home in West Sussex and admitted to staging paid photoshoots for the paparazzi.
Katie Price revealed she had spent the day filming for her ‘new show’ (Picture: Rex)
It’s been a tumultuous few months for Katie Price.
The 40-year-old star was whisked off to rehab in September after her dire financial woes, wild partying ways and string of failed romances all became too much.
Returning to social media for the first time in seven weeks on Wednesday, the former glamour model shared a series of Halloween snaps in which her children with ex-husband Kieran Hayler – Jett, five, and Bunny, four – appeared dressed up to the nines as they cuddled up with their grandmother Amy.
But Katie also used her social media comeback as an opportunity to reveal that she is back on the road to recovery and returning to work.
Sharing a cute picture of herself and her youngest daughter Bunny, the television personality revealed she was winding down after a long day of filming for her ‘new show’.
‘Been filming my new show today and now time to chillax with my children,’ Katie wrote to her followers, adding the hashtags #dinner #bath #cuddles and #bedtime.
Though the Loose Women panellist remained tight lipped over the filming project, it’s thought to be a second series of her access-all-areas show My Crazy Life, which had a successful first stint earlier this year.
News of a potential second series comes after the show was reportedly at threat of being axed following Katie’s infamous ‘coke-rap’ scandal in September.
It reportedly also came to the displeasure of Quest Red bosses, who allegedly claimed the footage – alongside her recent splits from Kris Boyson and toyboy Alex Adderson and wild partying antics – were turning the show into a moral grey area.
However, it seems as though Katie’s recent rehab stay and return to family life have been enough to convince show bosses she’s back in the game.

And Katie has admitted she has ‘hit rock bottom’, as she prepares to tell her side of the story.
The mum-of-five will discuss her difficult summer in two specials of her reality series My Crazy Life, in an effort to tell her side of the story.
Katie admits that things have hit rock bottom in her life (Picture: Wenn/Quest Red)
Katie said: ‘Things have really hit rock bottom since the last series of My Crazy Life a few months ago. But the only way is up.
‘It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.’
The first special will follow Katie during her treatment for PTSD, and will air on 12 November, while the second Quest Red special will air in December.
Clare Laycock, head of channels at Quest Red, TLC and ID, said: ‘Katie Price: My Crazy Life really captured the hearts of audiences and I’m delighted to welcome her back to the channel.
‘This series we’re all rooting for Katie as she confronts some home truths and takes control – expect more challenges and heart-warming moments from one of the UK’s most talked-about mums.’
The infamous reality star and model this week attended a court hearing where she was given a further five weeks to pay off her debts, after initially being granted 12 weeks to avoid bankruptcy.
Katie was believed to be attempting to sell her £2 million family home to pay off her debts, but has failed to do so.

The mum-of-five shared an image to Instagram reading: ‘One of the risks of being quiet is that the other people can fill your silence with their own interpretation: You’re bored. You’re depressed. You’re shy. You’re stuck up. You’re judgemental.
‘When others can’t read us, they write their own story – not always one we choose or that’s true to who we are.’
Katie captioned the post: ‘I have my own story. I am not perfect. I am healing. I am learning everyday. I am a real person. I have feelings. I am doing the best I can do. I am being the best person and mother I can be.
‘I have taken the time I needed to understand myself. This is now my time. I am back.’
Supporters rushed in to wish Katie well and welcome her back to public life.
‘It’s time to get my life back on track and be the best mum in the world for my kids. I’m excited to get back to doing what I love and to tell my side of the story.’

Kieran Hayler drops out of I’m A Celebrity amid Katie Price divorce (Picture: Rex Features/ITV)
Kieran Hayler has pulled out of I’m A Celebrity just weeks before the series is set to hit screens later this month.
Katie Price’s estranged husband has thrown in the towel to take care of his two children with the 40-year-old, Bunny and Jett, and is said to be hoping to enter the jungle next year when he can spill all on his divorce.
‘Kieran’s not going into the jungle now,’ a source told the Sun.
‘He was in talks but right now he’s got too much on – with Katie’s life in chaos, he wants to be around to look after Bunny and Jett.
‘He’s created a stable home environment and needs to be there for the children in case Katie gets arrested again or goes back into rehab. It’s not the right time for him to fly to Australia.

‘He’d love to do it though and is begging producers to let him go in next year when he’s divorced from Katie and can actually spill the beans on what it was like being married to her.
‘The split will be settled by next year and he’s got some stories to tell.
‘He was joking that the Bushtucker trials aren’t scary when you’ve lived with Katie Price!’
And this will be the first I’m A Celebrity without host Ant McPartlin, who confirmed he was stepping down for the 2018 series as he continues his recovery following a stay in rehab.
Instead, Holly Willoughby will be taking the reins with Declan Donnelly for the first time.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! returns to ITV later this month.

Kris Boyson sparks rumours Katie Price is moving in with him (Picture: Rex; Kris Boyson/Instagram)
Katie Price has had a hard time over the past few months, which has seen the star admitted to rehab for post traumatic stress disorder.
From her divorce with Kieran Hayler, teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, to being arrested for drink driving, the 40-year-old appears to be going through a rocky patch.
However, despite breaking up with her ex Kris Boyson back in September this year, it seems the personal trainer has got Katie’s back, and has been there for the mother-of-five throughout her difficult time.
Although they have not yet confirmed or denied whether they’re back on, the 29-year-old has now sparked rumours that Katie will be moving in with him.
Taking to Instagram, the fitness guru posted a topless photo of himself building what looks to be bunk beds.
Fans thought he was building the bunk beds for her children (Picture: Kris Boyson/Instagram)
In the caption he teased: ‘Looks like I’m good in the bedroom!’
Even though this could just be for a family friend, fans were quick to comment on the photo and speculated over the possibility of the beds being for Katie’s children.
One wrote: ‘If he is doing this for her, then good for him. He sees she’s in trouble and is helping out anyway he can.’
Another teased: ‘Katie’s a lucky girl.’
Someone else commented: ‘That’s for when Katie and her kids move in.’
Katie and Kris got together shortly after she split from Kieran earlier this year, but after a whirlwind romance, the pair decided to call it off.

Even though they are no longer together, Kris hasn’t been far from Katie’s side and has seemingly helped her out over the past couple of months.
Just last month, The Sun reported that the former glamour model left rehab just 24 hours after being admitted.
Metro.co.uk have reached out to both Katie and Kris’ reps for comment.

The 40-year-old was initially given 12 weeks to pay off her debts by a judge, but was given just over a month extra after she submitted her indivdial voluntary agreement (IVA, or her plan to pay off her debts) at the last minute.
However, the plan put forward by Katie’s legal team means she’ll be paying back her creditors and business debt for over a decade.
A source told The Sun: ‘Her lawyers have proposed an IVA of £1,000 a month until everything is paid off and have also suggested that all interest is frozen and Katie only pays back what she owes.’
With Katie believed to have debts of £150,000, a payment of a grand a month would mean she is paying off her debts for 12 years, when she’ll be 52.

The star has fallen into debt thanks to a number of failed business ventures, expensive divorces from Peter Andre and Alex Reid (and an upcoming split from Kieran Hayler), and a pricey £2 million estate.
Katie is believed to be trying to sell the family home in Horsham; however, it was reported that the house, which has fallen into disarray, will need a £150,000 makeover to have a chance at selling.
The source continued: ‘She knows she’ll have to sell the house and rent as no one will lend her a mortgage, there’s no equity in the house after paying off the creditors, and no savings.
‘She’s struggling even to find rental accommodation as he credit rating is so bad, so she’s having to use her mum and stepdad to act as guarantors.’
It is believed that mum-of-five Katie will be staying in the family home until after Christmas.
A rep for Katie declined to comment when approached by Metro.co.uk.

This shows that Katie has a history of messy homes (Picture: BBC, Getty)
Katie Price’s first home can be seen in an old BBC documentary that ventured behind the scenes of her life.
In a time where she was better known as glamour model Jordan, footage captured between 2001 and 2003 also captured the moment she found out she had been burgled.
Aerial shots of the property show the extent of the mess, with abandoned grounds and bags of rubbish littering the once grand manor.
But now the recently unearthed footage proves that the Loose Women panelist has a history of messy homes.
Old food and litter was strewn across the living room floor (Picture: BBC)
Allowing the cameras into her bungalow that she shared with friend Sally in 2001, viewers could see rubbish splattered across the living room floor.
The accommodation – which she lived in while in a relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke – was covered with empty glasses and old food in the unpleasant scenes.
Katie even warned the BBC Three cameramen that they were not permitted to film below eye level.
Speaking on Katie Price: The Jordan Years, filmed by Richard Macer, the star confessed: ‘I’ve given the cameras their orders, they’re only allowed to film from there to there… just the heads.’
Macer told the camera: ‘There was a huge gulf between the public persona of Jordan and the private life of Katie Price.
Katie could be paying her debts until she is 52 (Picture: Rex Features)
‘It was as if her fame had happened so fast that her life hadn’t caught up with it yet.’
The documentary also filmed the moment that Katie discovered intruders had stolen from her.
The thieves took her car and also scrawled offensive remarks on her bathroom mirror in shaving foam.
Macer claimed that at the time that the incident forced Katie to re-evaluate her career path.
‘It was as if the intruders had targeted the Jordan they’d been reading about in the papers… she was paying the price for the image she’d created,’ he explained.
The 40-year-old was initially given 12 weeks to pay off her debts by a judge, but was given just over a month extra after she submitted her individual voluntary agreement (IVA, or her plan to pay off her debts) at the last minute.

Kieran and his new girlfriend Michelle enjoyed a night out (Picture: Splash News)
Nobody enjoys bumping into their ex so we wonder how on earth Katie Price coped walking into two of her former flames during a night out.
The mother-of-five has had a pretty rollercoaster year already after completing her rehab treatment, going through a divorce and being arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
Rather than stay at home until things die-down for a bit, the former Loose Women panellist headed out for a good time at the Ultimate Boxxer II event at London’s O2 arena.
Katie’s ex-husband, who she separated from in 2017, arrived with his girlfriend Michelle Pentecost with Katie’s recent ex Kris Boyson arriving not far behind.
Although they were all papped, Katie managed to avoid the cameras outside but was seen partying the night away on 2 October.
Kris was seen with Katie indoors (Picture: Splash News)
Insiders claimed to have seen Katie go to desperate lengths to avoid Kieran, the father of her two youngest children, according to The Mirror.
However, it is said that she and Kris hung out at one end of the bar, while keeping a watchful eye on Kieran and Michelle who were on the other side of the venue.
The publication reports that later on that night, Katie’s car was spotted outside Kris’s house in Gravesend, Kent – despite their public split in September.
Katie and Kris have been dropping hints that they’re getting back together following her split from Essex businessman Alex Adderson.
Despite breaking up with her ex Kris Boyson back in September this year, it seems the personal trainer has got Katie’s back, and has been there for the mother-of-five throughout her difficult time.
Taking to Instagram, the fitness guru posted a topless photo of himself building what looks to be bunk beds.

Kieran Hayler, Katie Price’s ex-husband, was spotted treating the kids to an outing for Bonfire Night.
Four-year-old Bunny, and five-year-old Jett looked adorable wrapped up against the cold, with their dad taking them to a fireworks display in Surrey, where he lives.
The kids got involved with the evening, even being given torches to carry in the procession before helping to (carefully) light the bonfire with their dad.
A teaser has dropped for the return of Katie’s Quest Red reality show, and in it, she calls her actions ‘disgusting’.
Speaking to on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson, Katie says: ‘Everything I did was disgusting, and not me.’

The mum-of-five is then seen meeting her mother Amy at The Priory clinic, with Amy telling her: ‘It’s really hard watching you destroy yourself.’
Katie addresses the media coverage of her troubles, saying: ‘It weren’t how it even came across in the papers again’, while her estranged husband Kieran Hayler chimes in: ‘Kate is always ready to blame everybody else.’
The end of the trailer sees Katie hugging Kris, hinting the pair have reunited following her brief romance with Alex Adderson.
Katie has returned to social media following treatment for post traumatic stress disorder, and is hoping to clear up her financial issues after having her deadline extended.
Katie Price: My Crazy Life airs on Quest Red on Monday, 12 November at 10pm.

Katie and Kieran, who married in 2013, are said to have earned money together from multiple joint ventures including reality TV shows like My Crazy Life and magazine photo shoots.
Katie will appear in court on 4 December to settle her bankruptcy (Picture: Getty Images)
The insider alleges Katie owes Kieran, 31, thousands of pounds.
A source told The Sun: ‘Kieran wants to be paid his fair share when the divorce finally goes through and he’s telling friends he never saw any of the money that he was supposed to get from appearing on Katie’s TV shows – My Crazy Life or Pony Club.
‘Or, from any of the magazine shoots they did as a couple when they were still married. Now Katie’s headed to bankruptcy court, he wants to make sure he gets the money. That’s why the divorce is moving so slowly – he wants what he’s owed.’
The source added: ‘It’s tens of thousands – but the question is, does Katie have it?’

It’s said that Katie asked for a £300 quickie divorce to end their marriage quietly but the ex stripper allegedly refused.
A source told the newspaper: ‘Katie thinks that they should be able to end the marriage quickly and quietly with a £300 online divorce, and put the idea to Kieran.
‘She doesn’t see the point in spending money and time on lawyers and a huge divorce case when they could do it online.’
The pair are now both dating other people with Katie linked to on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson and Kieran in a relationship with Michelle Pentecost.
Katie is due to appear in court on 4 December for the bankruptcy hearing.

Katie Price was pulled over by police over a mistake with her driving record (Picture: Rex Features)
Katie Price appeared to be pulled over by police on Tuesday while driving a courtesy car.
Pictures show the 40-year-old sitting in the driver’s seat of a silver BMW with a police officer approaching her window.
It’s alleged that Katie refused to get out of the car after being told that she was still banned from driving.
Katie was given a six-month driving ban in February and she was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in October.
According to eyewitnesses, the former Loose Women host looked visibly upset and ‘distraught’ during the incident.
However, the police officer realised that Katie was no longer disqualified after checking the system and allowed her to continue with her journey.
Following her most recent arrest, the ex glamour model was taken to a police station and was released under investigation.
As a result of her driving ban in February, it’s said that Katie received six penalty points and a road ban after speeding.

Peter Andre reportedly had no idea that Junior and Princess would be involved in the show (Picture: ITV)
Peter Andre is said to be furious after learning that Junior and Princess will be featured in ex-wife Katie Price’s latest reality show.
The former glamour model recently revealed filming had started for a second series of My Crazy Life, documenting her road to recovery as she completes a stint in rehab and reunites with her children.
According to The Sun, Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, are set to be involved in the show too – but no one ran the idea by their father, Pete.
‘Pete was surprised to hear that as soon as Katie saw the kids, they were on camera and filming for the show,’ a source said.
‘I wouldn’t be surprised if he was furious – it’s the kind of thing that should have been communicated.’
The insider added: ‘They’ve filmed a lot for the show in the past and that was agreed on but Pete had no idea that they’d be on camera for this recent reunion.’

Junior and Princess moved back in with Pete and new wife Emily over the summer, after concerns grew for Katie over her wild partying antics, drink-driving arrest and dire financial woes.

The tweets are the first Katie has posted since August as the ex glamour model checked into a rehab facility in October.

The model had received a ban on her driving licence in February after being caught for speeding and she was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving in September.
