Katie Price is set to adopt a Nigerian orphan.

The TV personality has revealed her desire to adopt a child from the West African country because it is ‘hard to do in Britain.’

Speaking on This Morning on Monday’s episode the 40-year-old, who is a mother of five children, explained how she has always wanted to adopt, but after meeting a woman in a nail salon she was inspired to look abroad.

‘Basically, I’ve always said – I think I’ve come on the show a few times to say – that I’ve always wanted to adopt a child,’ she explained. ‘I don’t care if they have disabilities, what age, just because I feel like I can offer a place.’

The former Loose Woman panellist, who also shot down claims she was bankrupt, said that a conversation about charities with the woman she initially believed to be a nurse, has left her confident she would be able to do so despite any future possible immigration hurdles she may face.

‘Funny enough I was getting my nails done and there was a lady sitting next to me and I said: “I’m sorry to ask, but are you a nurse?”

‘But the long story short, she wasn’t a nurse, but she was telling me how she looks after this orphanage in Nigeria and we got talking and stuff about disabilities and charities, and I said I have always wanted to adopt.

‘But the thing is, it is easy to adopt abroad but it isn’t easy to bring them into this country.’

Katie said that the idea of adoption is not a new one for her and she is hoping she will be successful.

‘I’ve looked into it for ages so now that I have met this woman hopefully something will happen,’ she said. ‘I still want my own kids as well don’t get me wrong.’

When asked by host Phillip Schofield on why she wouldn’t just adopt a child in Britain she added: ‘It is so hard to adopt over here.’

Katie will be flying out to Nigeria to get the process started although she ‘should have gone last weekend’.

Price already has son Harvey, 16, with ex-footballer Dwight Yorke, Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with ex-husband Peter Andre and Jett, five, and Bunny, four, with Kieran Hayler.

However, Katie also admitted she has not ruled out having more kids of her own.

She said: ‘I still want my own kids as well, don’t get me wrong. I would definitely have more.

‘If I can offer another child I will. There’s enough bedrooms in the house.’

Elsewhere in the interview Katie ‘cleared’ up news reports about her that have made headlines in the last year.

‘An IVA is completely different from bankruptcy. One of my companies went down and it was all to do with tax and stuff like that,’ she elaborated. ‘So an IVA is just when you arrange voluntary payment to pay it back. Now If I was bankrupt I wouldn’t be able to do that.’

Katie also admitted to ‘self-medicating’ on cocaine at the start of 2018 in response to the videos of her partying that emerged last year amid her divorce from Kieran.

‘I was in such a bad, basically, at the start of the year, I was self-medicated which I admit. Some people turn to drink … I self-medicated. I wasn’t in the right marriage but lost of other things had happened till then and that video was the last thing,’ she said.

She described voluntarily admitting herself to mental health care facility The Priory for severe PTSD – but emphasised that it was not rehabilitation for any drug abuse as previously reported.

This Morning airs weekdays on ITV at 10:30 am.

Katie Price says Harvey asked for his own Instagram account just like his brother Junior and other teenagers

Katie Price says her son Harvey wants an Instagram account just like his brother and his friends.

The mum-of-five has further explained the importance of giving her son the opportunity to post about the things he loves, two days after setting up his first social media profile, Mr Harvey Price.

Katie says his new online account reinforces the message of Harvey’s Law by aiming to make sure Harvey is treated just like any other teenager.

A representative for the star told MailOnline: ‘Harvey is a 16-year-old boy who wants his own Instagram. Why should he be stopped by all the haters and trolls?

Instagram Photo

‘This is exactly why Katie is battling for Harvey’s Law- to stop this! Able-bodied 16-year-old boys have Instagram so what is the exception for Harvey?’

It was revealed on Monday that Harvey asked for the account after seeing school friends, family and even brother Junior Andre posting online.

Proud mum Katie announced her decision on Saturday, when she told fans: ‘My beautiful baby boy wants to learn to post on his own page his drawings playing the keyboard and everything else @mrharveyprice.’

Since the weekend, his dedicated Instagram page has already garnered a following of almost 60k.

Katie was initially criticised for the decision, amid concerns that his own account would make Harvey – who was born with Prader-Willi syndrome – an easy target for online trolls.

The former page 3 model started a petition in 2017 to a pass a law about online abuse after her son was targeted by cruel trolls, who mocked his learning disabilities and racially abused him.

However, since Harvey’s Law got the backing of MPs earlier this month, Katie clearly feels confident that online abuse will become a crime and offenders will be added to a register.

Katie Price has revealed her desire to adopt a Nigerian orphan, following an encounter with a woman she met in a nail shop.

The glamour model, businesswoman and TV personality is already mother to five children.

The eldest, Harvey, was born in 2002 following Katie’s relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.

Harvey is partially blind and suffers from Prader Willi Syndrome, a condition that means that he is unable to stop eating as he never feels full up. He also suffers from autism and various related learning and behavioural difficulties.

Katie has campaigned to make online trolling a criminal offence after Harvey was mocked by trolls online, appearing in parliament to give evidence after more than 200,000 people signed her petition.

The star’s next two children, 13-year-old Junior and Princess, 11. were born during her relationship with singer Peter Andre.

The pair met when they were on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in 2004, with Junior born in June 2005 and Princess following two years later in June 2007.

Katie’s fourth child and third son, Jett Riviera six – her first from her relationship with Kieran Hayler – was born eight weeks prematurely in August 2013.

Her youngest child, four-year-old Bunny – her second with Hayler – was born two weeks prematurely on August 4 2014.

As well as revealing plans to adopt, Katie has also said that she has not ruled out having more kids of her own.

She said: ‘I still want my own kids as well, don’t get me wrong. I would definitely have more. ‘If I can offer another child I will. There’s enough bedrooms in the house.’

Katie Price is thought to be insisting on a very public proposal from boyfriend Kris Boyson.

The pair rekindled their romance after splitting at the end of the summer and it has now been claimed that the two ‘talk about marriage all the time and it’s pretty much a given they’ll get engaged very soon’.

But there is one caveat.

‘She wants a big romantic gesture, something really over the top, but she’s agreed to put her whole life on the reality show so it needs to be filmed.’

Katie stars in her own show My Crazy Life on Quest Red, and has shared everything from her exit from rehab to Christmas day with her children and Kris.

Katie is the mother of five children, but Kris recently revealed he would love to have his own children.

It’s a good job he loves kids though, as Katie has admitted her desire to adopt a child from the West African country Nigeria because it is ‘hard to do in Britain’.

Katie Price shocked her fans earlier this week when she announced she wanted to adopt a baby from Nigeria.

But it’s not the first time the mum-of-five has revealed her hopes of adopting. More than a decade ago, in 2008, the 40-year-old planned to adopt a baby from Bulgaria while she was still married to Peter Andre.

Following their split, it was then claimed Katie was determined to “do a Madonna”.

Four years later the former glamour model revealed she had asked her mum for help with the adoption process, and in 2016 she also spoke about adopting a child from Bulgaria with now-ex Kieran Hayler.

Hitting back at reports she was doing it just for publicity, Katie said the same year: ‘You cannot adopt a child for press. That’s a human being. I’ve said for years that I want to adopt and now is the right time.’

Appearing on This Morning on Monday, Katie explained how she has always wanted to adopt, but after meeting a woman in a nail salon she was inspired to look abroad.

Katie Price’s dream to adopt a Nigerian child could be over

Katie Price’s may need to let go of her desire to adopt an orphan from Nigeria.

The star shocked fans earlier this week when she announced she wanted to adopt a child from the West African country.

Although she has spoken about adopting on three other occasions before – with hopes of adopting from Bulgaria while still married to Peter Andre – the star may not be as successful as she would like to think.

According to an expert, it is very unlikely that the reality TV star will be permitted to become the legal guardian of a child from Nigeria.

Nigerian family lawyers and adoption agencies have warned that her recent brushes with the law and financial woes would probably make this ‘impossible’.

Katie, who is on trial next month after being charged with drink driving and crashing her Pink Range Rover (something she denies), was also recently banned from driving and fined £1,100 by a magistrates court for driving while disqualified and without insurance, which is a criminal conviction in the UK.

Additionally, since 2016, Nigeria only allows the southern state of Lagos to proceed with international adoptions. And this is done for mostly US citizens. Yet, it is still a complex and exhaustive procedure.

A spokesman for Lagos-based Resolution Law Firm, one of the country’s top family law specialists, told The Sun: ‘International adoption is very difficult in Nigeria, they only usually allow it with people from Nigerian descent.

‘It’s impossible if she has a criminal record or is currently being charged.

‘It doesn’t matter [if anyone had many husbands]  but the criminal issues [even if they are only related to driving means] you won’t be able to adopt.’

Katie Price with her son Harvey leaves Portcullis House in London after giving evidence to the Commons Petitions Committee where she called for online abuse to be made a specific offence.

Nigeria has many other rules about adoption, the newspaper reports. A single person adopting a child has to be over 35, which Katie is, but she’d only be able to adopt a child the same sex as her.

Money could also be a factor for Katie, who has denied reports she is bankrupt.

One of the only international agents working in Nigeria is Nightlight, a Christian adoption program, which states that adoptions cost between 14.1 million -18.5 million Naira (£30-40,000), around the norm for the nation.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Katie’s reps for a comment.

Katie Price’s pink Range Rover slapped with parking ticket as model enjoys Liverpool night out with Kris Boyson

Katie Price may be currently banned from driving but her car is still running into trouble with those traffic wardens.

The former Loose Women host is spending the weekend in Liverpool with her boyfriend, Kris Boyson, but cold water was splashed on their fun when she discovered a parking ticket on her pink Range Rover.

It’s believed Katie, 40, is being driven around by Kris, 27, due to her receiving a three-month driving ban in January.

Sharing a photo of the parking ticket on his Instagram account on Saturday, Katie’s friend, Celebrity Big Brother star Austin Armacost, said: ‘Check the signs next time!’

On Friday night, Katie was spotted heading to a nightclub appearance in the city after spending the earlier part of the evening at the five-star Aloft Liverpool hotel.

Despite the chilly temperatures, Katie braved the cold in a red long-sleeved Couture Club jumper dress teamed with a pair of black knee-high boots, while long black hair was swept up into a ponytail.

Katie has been chauffeur-driven around in recent weeks after being slapped with the driving ban and made to pay a £1,000 fine.

Last month, Katie listed one of her cars up for sale on eBay with bids reaching more than £60,000 in six hours.

Addressing her driving ban, Katie said on Loose Women last week: ‘That was…it was all to do with a different date. They said I was driving with no insurance. The conviction date was January so I was banned for six months.

‘So if you look at that date I thought I was able to drive. It was only by two weeks.’

She continued: ‘So they didn’t give me points I was banned for three months. Which is good. Well, it’s not good. It is what it is.

‘I don’t use the cars. I bought that car for my German shepherds.’

Katie Price is said to have fired a second nanny after accusing her of having an affair with Kieran Hayer.

The former glamour model previously sacked Nikki Brown for the exact same reason, however the 40-year-old has since denied the claims.

And now Katie is at it again, as she is rumoured to have let go her new 19-year-old nanny.

A source close to the star told The Sun: ‘Katie became convinced that [her nanny] wanted to become famous through appearing on her reality show.

‘She even accused her of having an affair with Kieran when he lived there – of course she didn’t, but it’s just part of Katie’s paranoid nature.’

They added: ‘She thinks everyone wants something from her and will use her to get famous, even if they’ve been a reliable and loyal employee.

‘Katie reckons she needs a live-in nanny now as she’s got big plans for work in 2019 and will be busier than ever.’

The mother-of-five split from her hubby early last year after it was reported that the pair had ‘accepted it was the end of their marriage.’

Since then she has been getting close to her on and off boyfriend Kris Boyson – and is even said to have asked him to propose to her.

The pair rekindled their romance after splitting at the end of the summer following a romantic getaway.

Katie Price considering moving son Harvey into care as she claims he’s a ‘danger to himself’

Katie Price has revealed eldest son Harvey could be moved into residential care, as he has become a ‘danger to himself’.

The 16-year-old is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, and has been acting out at home because he wants to spend more time with his mum.

And, after Harvey smashed up TVs and iPads in the house, the Loose Women star explained she is thinking of making the difficult decision of moving him into a care facility on a part time basis.

Katie Price revealed she's thinking about putting Harvey in residential care (Picture: BBC2)

‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday,’ the 40-year-old explained, during an appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire show.

‘He knows if he kicks off in the morning, the driver won’t take him to school. So he’s sussed that and he’s missing out on his education.

‘He just wants to be with me all the time.’

Katie opened up about how ‘hard’ it is to care for Harvey, as well as her other children – Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny.

‘It’s so hard. I’ve never had respite, I haven’t got a carer with him, I do it all myself. But I’m really having to think about it,’ she continued.

Instagram Photo

‘I hate it, because he’s my life. Do you know what I mean? But I’ve got to do what’s best for him but it won’t be for ever.

‘When he’s smashing things, and the kids are scared of him because he’s big, he’ll chase them and stuff. I’ve just got to do it for him.

‘If there’s anyone out there who could give me some advice on what it’s like and how to cope when they go in residential… We’ll find it really hard.’

Katie has not hired a carer for Harvey, but mum Amy has been helping out as much as she can, quitting her job in 2002 in order to support the family.

She previously told The Guardian: ‘She said, “Mum, I can’t cope.” Well, she needed help. She didn’t have anyone else. I would do one night, she would do the next, and we’d be up two or three times a night.

‘If Kate wanted a babysitter, she couldn’t get one because there wasn’t anyone who could cope with him. There was no question of thinking about whether to give up work – I had to do it.’

Harvey does not have a relationship with dad Dwight York.

Katie has been battling to bring social media trolls to justice recently, after he was targeted by online abuse.

She previously appeared in parliament to give evidence on why trolling should be made a criminal offence, after her petition was signed by more than 200,000 people.

However, despite getting backing from fans and MPs across the country, she is wanting ex husbands Peter Andre and Kieran Hayler to get involved.

‘I’m not being horrible, but the more people that back it, and the more people that are aware of it, the better.’

After ‘Harvey’s Law’ started gaining traction, Katie recently decided it was the right time for the teenager to be given his own Instagram account.

While he has popped up on her own grid, he now has his own profile to post and like whatever he sees fit.

In a video shared on Katie’s page, he could be seen introducing her followers to his page, encouraging them to give him a follow.

‘Hello everyone, my new Instagram is Mr Harvey Price,’ he told the camera, before getting into a rendition of In My Feelings, by Drake.

‘My beautiful baby boy wants to learn to post on his own page his drawings playing the keyboard and everything else @mrharveyprice,’ the Celebrity Big Brother star captioned the shot.

However, she was left fuming when fans called her out over the decision, explaining he wanted an account and should be allowed to have one.

A rep told MailOnline: ‘Harvey is a 16-year-old boy who wants his own Instagram. Why should he be stopped by all the haters and trolls?

‘This is exactly why Katie is battling for Harvey’s Law- to stop this! Able-bodied 16-year-old boys have Instagram so what is the exception for Harvey?’

Katie Price recently revealed plans to adopt a Nigerian orphan, after meeting a woman in her nail shop.

And the mum-of-five revealed she is in the process of expanding her brood once more.

In an appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire show, Katie was asked if she had moved forward with her plans.

‘I met a lady, yes,’ the 40-year-old replied. ‘But in some countries… It’s easier to adopt a child abroad but it’s hard to get them in the country.

Instagram Photo

‘And in England it’s even harder to try and adopt.

‘I would love to adopt, I still want my own, and I don’t care if they’ve got disabilities or anything. I’m just so loving and I just want to offer a home for a child that is not wanted.’

When questioned over how many kids she would like to have, she added: ‘In my head, it’s like.. When Junior gets older, he’ll leave home… it’s a conveyor belt.

‘I’ve got 11 bedrooms to fill.’

The reality star was set to fly out to Nigeria last month to discuss the process, but was forced to cancel as she reportedly couldn’t secure childcare for Princess and Junior – whom she shares with Peter Andre.

In an interview on This Morning, Katie opened up about the chance encounter with an orphanage worker at a nail shop, which spurred her on in her quest.

‘Funny enough I was getting my nails done and there was a lady sitting next to me and I said: “I’m sorry to ask, but are you a nurse?”,’ she told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

‘But the long story short, she wasn’t a nurse, but she was telling me how she looks after this orphanage in Nigeria and we got talking and stuff about disabilities and charities, and I said I have always wanted to adopt.

‘I’ve looked into it for ages so now that I have met this woman hopefully something will happen.

‘I still want my own kids as well, don’t get me wrong. I would definitely have more,’ she added. ‘If I can offer another child I will. There’s enough bedrooms in the house.’

Katie Price’s son Harvey has received an outpouring of support today, after his mother shared his excitement at travelling on the Gatwick Express to London.

The pair were in town to appear on Victoria Derbyshire’s show, in which Katie suggested she may put her 16-year-old son, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, into care part-time.

Before they joined the presenter on the couch, however, the two hopped a locomotive and spent the night in a hotel in the capital – all documented on Harvey’s new Instagram channel.

Run by his mother, the teen was impressing his new followers as he was instructed on how to purchase the tickets for the trip in a string of videos.

His love of trains has long been documented on Katie’s reality show My Crazy Life, however fans loved the insight into Harvey’s trip as they waited on the platform at what appeared to be Gatwick airport.

While Katie, 40, helped her son in ordering their return tickets, when she asked him what train was waiting on the opposite platform without hesitation he answered: ‘Thames link service from Bedford to Three Bridges.’

Fans immediately flocked to the comments section to share their pride in watching Harvey learn these new skills as one wrote alongside the video: ‘Love seeing how clever he is and how independent he is becoming.’

Another echoed the same sentiments by adding: ‘Love seeing you two together – such a special relationship 💖. Harvey – you’re amazing xx’

Wanting to let Katie know they were impressed with how she was raising her son, one fan wrote: ‘What a lovely polite well mannered young boy you are such a shame more young people don’t know how to behave like this you are a credit to your mum. I hope you enjoyed the train ride.’

Earlier today Katie admitted the heartbreaking decision she has to make as to whether she places Harvey into part-time care, after he began smashing things in the Pricey mansion and posing a danger to himself.

‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday,’ she explained, during an appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire show on Wednesday.

‘He knows if he kicks off in the morning, the driver won’t take him to school. So he’s sussed that and he’s missing out on his education. He just wants to be with me all the time.’

Katie – who also has four other children, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, five, and Bunny, four, opened up about how thinly spread she is caring for her children without having any specialist help for Harvey.

‘It’s so hard. I’ve never had respite, I haven’t got a carer with him, I do it all myself. But I’m really having to think about it,’ she continued.

Katie Price was overjoyed to spend quality time with her son Harvey yesterday, just as she revealed possible plans to put him into care.

The former Loose Women host travelled into London with her eldest child on Wednesday for a TV interview on BBC Two’s Victoria Derbyshire show.

It seems travelling and the busy schedule took its toll on Harvey, 16, whom Katie filmed falling asleep in the car ride home.

As the teen adorably tries his best to stay awake, Katie says in the Instagram video: ‘My baby bear’s knackered after today aren’t you. Mummy give you big cuddle, yes.’

The former glamour model then asks what Harvey would like to eat once he gets back home, to which he said spaghetti carbonara, which is clearly his favourite dish.

Katie captioned the clip: ‘I enjoyed the day with harvey please watch our inter we did together today and realise I’m a real honest human who genuinely wants to help people.’

During her appearance on Victoria Derbyshire, the reality TV star admitted she was considering putting Harvey into care as it’s becoming difficult to look after him alone.

‘He knows if he kicks off in the morning, the driver won’t take him to school. So he’s sussed that and he’s missing out on his education. ‘He just wants to be with me all the time.’

Katie, who is mother to other four other children, Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny, continued: ‘It’s so hard. I’ve never had respite, I haven’t got a carer with him, I do it all myself. But I’m really having to think about it.’

The TV star then pleaded to the public for any advice that might help her understand better what it’s like when a dependent is put into residential care.

Katie Price had an emotional appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire Show alongside eldest son Harvey Price.

The mum-of-five was on the show to talk about her bid to make trolling a criminal offence, after the 16-year-old was targeted with vile comments online, mocking his disabilities.

Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome, is autistic and partially blind.

Despite being on the show to discuss the impact trolls can have, the 40-year-old was faced with a string of negative comments from viewers, over their segment.

Taking to Instagram, Katie hit back at the haters with a sweet video of the sleepy teenager as they made their way home.

‘My baby bear’s knackered after today aren’t you? Mummy give you big cuddle, yes,’ she could be heard telling him.

Alongside the clip, she told her 1.9million followers: ‘I enjoyed the day with Harvey please watch our inter we did together today and realise I’m a real honest human who genuinely wants to help people.’

The reality TV star made headlines during her time on Victoria Derbyshire, after admitting she was considering putting him into part-time care as it’s becoming difficult to look after him alone.

Discussing Harvey ‘smashing iPads and TVs,’ she began: ‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday.

Earlier this week, Katie Price revealed the difficult decision that eldest son Harvey could be moved into part-time residential care as the 16-year-old had become a ‘danger to himself’.

The doting mum said her son, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, had been acting out at home because he wants to spend more time with her.

Highlighting just how difficult the decision will be for the mum-of-five, she previously vowed that she would never send him to a residential care home.

In a 2013 interview with the Guardian, Katie explained: ‘There are a lot of evil people out there. He’ll always live at home. He’s not leaving me.’

Appearing on the Victoria Derbyshire Show, Katie said her son had been smashing up TVs, windows and iPads in the house.

‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday,’ the 40-year-old explained.

In 2015, during a stint on Celebrity Big Brother, Katie revealed her local council pay to drive Harvey to and from school each day, and that it would cost her around £1,000 a day if she funded it herself.

Late last year, the former glamour model also revealed Harvey struggled when he was away from his siblings Princess and Junior after they went to live with dad Peter Andre.

Speaking on her reality show, Katie Price: My Crazy Life, she said: ‘Harvey’s been really lonely in the house without the other kids.’

Katie revealed she had bought Harvey, whose father is former Manchester United player Dwight Yorke, a German Shepard called Bear to keep him company.

She added: ‘I thought I’d get something to cheer him up, and I got Bear.’

A month later, Katie admitted Harvey was also getting bored after Jett and Bunny also went to visit dad Kieran.

‘Today, Jett and Bunny are with Kieran, Junior and Princess are with their dad and it’s days like this that Harvey gets really, really bored,’ Katie shared.

Meanwhile, Katie recently found herself hitting back at trolls after she filmed a tired Harvey in the back of the car, and told them they should try stepping into her shoes.

‘I’ve never exposed Harvey kicking off and when his behaviour is very challenging,’ she wrote.

‘If people knew how difficult it is you would certainly shout your mouth and twice twice judging me!’

‘Harvey is my total life and NOBODY knows how much I love him and what an amazing bond we have!’

The 40-year-old went on: ‘It takes a special person to care and look after a person with complex needs.

‘Frankly I suggest go help in a care home kids school with complex needs elderly and then comment what’s its like x”

Katie Price says she has ‘no choice’ but to move her son Harvey into part time care as her other children are ‘scared’ of him.

Katie said Harvey goes into his half-siblings’ rooms and wakes them up at night so they end up sleeping in the same room as their mum.

She said on This Morning: ‘At night I don’t get any sleep. He goes in the kids room, wakes them up, they’re scared and get in my room.

‘He’s my absolute life but he’s hard work now.’

Katie described caring for Harvey as ‘hard work’ (Picture: ITV)

Katie admitted that she does feel guilty about moving him to part time care, where he will board at his school from Monday to Friday.

‘I’ve never done respite care. I don’t want him to think I’m palming him off but I have no choice.

‘He can go to after school club. I know I can go up and have dinner with him and tuck him in.

‘He needs his education, he hasn’t been to school for two weeks.’

Speaking about how her other children react to him, she said: ‘They’re scared of him now because he’s so big and makes a big impact.

‘I can’t tell him off because he doesn’t understand. When he’s in that rage he’s in that rage.’

The Loose Women star said that Harvey has secured a place at his school.

‘I’m really nervous,’ she confessed.

An old interview with Katie highlighted how difficult the decision is for the mum-of-five, having previously vowed to never send him to a residential care home.

In a 2013 interview with the Guardian, Katie explained: ‘There are a lot of evil people out there. He’ll always live at home. He’s not leaving me.’

Katie Price’s boyfriend Kris Boyson has been spotted taking his gal’s trademark pink Range Rover for a spin.

The fitness fanatic was heading home from the gym when he was seen behind the wheel of the former glamour model’s pride and joy.

After what we can only imagine was a strenuous workout, the 27-year-old quickly left the building before getting into the vehicle.

He then went to check his phone for any notifications while sat in the car park.

Kris and Katie have had an on and off relationship ever since they first got together back in June last year.

Following their first four months together, the pair decided to go their separate ways after a romantic holiday in Thailand.

However, despite their separation, it seems the loved up couple are back on, and even stronger than ever.

Taking his boyfriend duties to heart, it’s thought that Kris is currently driving Katie around after she was granted a three month driving ban back in January.

However, despite his best efforts, the pair were smacked with a parking ticket during a night out in Liverpool.

Sharing a photo of the parking ticket on his Instagram account on Saturday, Katie’s friend, Celebrity Big Brother star Austin Armacost, said: ‘Check the signs next time!’

‘The conviction date was January so I was banned for six months. So if you look at that date I thought I was able to drive. It was only by two weeks.’

She continued: ‘So they didn’t give me points, I was banned for three months. Which is good. Well, it’s not good. It is what it is.

‘I don’t use the cars. I bought that car for my German shepherds.’

Katie Price announces new children’s clothing business venture after bankruptcy drama

Katie Price hasn’t let the prospect of bankruptcy stop her from embarking on a new business venture.

The former model announced that she will be launching a children’s clothing line, inspired by her daughters Princess and Bunny.

The 40-year-old, who spent much of 2018 battling bankruptcy, announced the news on her Instagram page. Posting a cute video featuring Bunny, her youngest daughter, she captioned it: ‘Been working on @princessandbunny.co.uk for year now. My kidswear brand launching in April. If you want your Child aged 4-14 to model at my fashion show please email: audition@princessandbunny.co.uk.’

As one in four carers say they are close to breaking point and haven?t had a day off in more than five years, Katie Price has made the brave admission that she also struggles to cope and has made the decision to put her son into residential care. The disability rights campaigner and mother-of-five says Harvey - who has a number of medical conditions - is a danger to not only himself but the rest of the family. Joining Katie is agony aunt Deidre Sanders, who says getting professional help is the right thing to do, no matter how heartbreaking the decision is.

In the clip, her four-year-old daughter can be seen flicking through a rack of clothes as she teases her mum’s followers with the new fashion line.

Her followers are excited by the prospect of new clothes and modelling. ‘Amazing would love my lil girl to model for your girls clothes,’ one mum wrote.

And others are looking out for a boys range, as another posted: ‘Good luck with your new venture! Can’t wait for a boys range, I will look out for that. Best of luck x.’

‘Lovely seeing her being a normal little girl, happy loving dressing up,’ an Instagram user said.

This isn’t the first time the former model ventured into business. She’s tried her hand at a variety of projects, including writing books, designing her own perfume and launching a ‘boutique’ iPod line, complete with her trademark butterflies, hearts and stars.

In December last year Price managed to avoid being formally declared bankrupt after she reached a payment plan with her creditors.

The reality star was facing debts of £22,000.

Price, who has five child, had reportedly fallen on tough financial times and made attempts to sell her £2million West Sussex mansion as well as an £100k Audi she once bought second hand for ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

She recently admitted to staging paid photoshoots with paparazzi after a few raunchy images emerged from her getaway with her on/off boyfriend Kris Boyson.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Katie has always been very proud of her reputation as a successful businesswoman, despite everything else that has been said about her.

‘She’s tried everything possible to avoid bankruptcy and has spent weeks trying to put off what was becoming increasingly inevitable, but this hearing could be the end of that last hope of saving it. ‘She is going to have to face the music.’

Katie Price was in the partying mood as she cut a rug at a student nightclub meet and greet this week.

Even though she’s a very busy lady, what with her new business pursuits and what not, she still had time for the fans as she donned a bright green sweater dress, a pair of sneakers and headed to Oxford.

Cutting all the angles at The Bridge Club, the 40-year-old mother-of-five was looking to have the time of her life, even though the dancefloor looked a little empty.

The only one dancing at the time, Katie paid no mind to the fact she wasn’t surrounded by people – just a bunch of pleather seats that might have been packed with snogging students just hours before.

Having been in court for driving offences, seems it was best Kris got behind the wheel, as Katie looked pretty chuffed to have her man acting as her ride before the two took off back to Pricey mansion.

It seems the former glamour model is keen to move on from the rather turbulent 2018 that saw her face drink driving charges, risk bankruptcy and attend rehab for treatment of PTSD.

Putting it all behind her this week, to boost up the coffers alongside the lucrative nightclub PA gigs, Katie announced that she will be launching a children’s clothing line, inspired by her daughters Princess, 11, and Bunny, four.

She announced the news on her Instagram page, posting a cute video featuring Bunny and captioning it: ‘Been working on @princessandbunny.co.uk for year now. My kidswear brand launching in April…’

This isn’t the first time the former model ventured into business. She was worth over £40million once, so she knows a thing or two about a deal, having tried her hand at a variety of projects, including writing books, designing her own perfume and launching a ‘boutique’ iPod line, complete with her trademark butterflies, hearts and stars.

Heartbreaking, though, she admitted last week she is considering placing her 16-year-old son Harvey into part-time care due to her fear of him hurting himself or his siblings.

The teen, who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome, may board at his school Monday-Friday – but it’s not a decision Katie, who also has sons Junior, 13, and Jett, five, has taken lightly.

‘I’ve never done respite care. I don’t want him to think I’m palming him off but I have no choice,’ she said last week.

‘He can go to after school club. I know I can go up and have dinner with him and tuck him in.

‘He needs his education, he hasn’t been to school for two weeks.’

Katie Price has taken terminally ill mum Amy on a ‘final’ holiday to Spain, along with her step-dad, Paul, and on-off boyfriend Kris Boyson.

And it seems like the gang are enjoying spending quality time together in Malaga, on Amy’s ‘bucket list’ trip.

Katie, 40, has been sharing glimpses as she relaxed by a homely fireplace, having a catch-up with her mum.

While beau Kris posted pictures of himself enjoying a beer in the sunshine, before jumping into a pool to cure his hangover.

Amy was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis in 2017, an incurable condition which causes scarring to the lungs makes it difficult to breathe.

An insider recently revealed the Loose Women star is desperate to make the most of the time she has left with her mum, following the news.

And the family have been joined by the cameras for her reality TV show to ‘capture’ their memories.

‘Katie wants to make the most of the time her mum has left, so it’s a sort of “bucket list” trip,’ they told The Sun.

‘Katie’s painfully aware that every holiday could be her mum’s last so taking the reality show cameras with them on the holiday will be a way of capturing precious memories.’

The mum-of-five previously opened up about coming to terms with Amy’s condition, explaining the slightest thing could make it worse.

In a chat with Now magazine, she explained: ‘My mum is dying, it’s that simple. They normally diagnose three to five years but Mum has already had to change her life. She’s sold her house because of the stairs.

‘But she could get a cold now, not get rid of it, and die within a month – that’s how bad it is. ‘Will a lung transplant help? I don’t know. Either way, she hasn’t got long.’

Katie first spoke out about the diagnosis in 2017, revealing the family were working alongside the British Lung Foundation in a bid to raise awareness.

‘Just to clarify for all of you reading. My mum has been diagnosed with a lung disease called Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) there is unfortunately no known cure for this,’ she posted on Twitter at the time.

‘As a shock to us all, Me and my family are proud to be supporting the British Lung Foundation to help support awareness and raising funds for research of IPF. With this we can help in other diagnosis and create awareness for people with IPF.

‘The condition has an average life expectancy of 3-5 years. There are two known pills which if they work can slow things down. My mum is a fighter she is working out every day, going to work and living life to the full please help us in supporting The British Lung Foundation so we can make a difference.’

Katie Price recently revealed she was thinking of placing son Harvey in part-time residential care, after explaining the teenager had been ‘smashing things up’ at home.

And the mum-of-five gave fans a glimpse at a broken window in her kitchen on Instagram, amid claims the 16-year-old – who is partially blind, autistic and has Prader-Willi syndrome – smashed it.

The 40-year-old shared a photo of herself getting ready to feed dogs Bear and Sparkle, with her 1.9million followers.

In the corner of the picture, a window could be seen with cardboard taped in front of it, suggesting it has been broken.

An insider told The Sun Harvey has ‘smashed up pretty much every window’ in Katie’s home, leaving her to ‘install Perspex screens over the TVs’.

‘Harvey has smashed pretty much every window in the house and has caused £7k damage,’ they claimed.

‘The windows now just get covered with cardboard when he breaks down because it’s too difficult to constantly replace them.’

Katie herself opened up about the teenager – whom she shares with Dwight Yorke – smashing up TVs and iPads in her home, leading her to consider moving him into residential care during the week.

Katie revealed how hard she’s found it caring for Harvey (Picture: Instagram)

During a recent appearance on the Victoria Derbyshire show, the Celebrity Big Brother star explained: ‘He’s a danger to himself. For the first time ever, I’m thinking he might have to go [into] residential [care]. Monday to Friday.

‘He knows if he kicks off in the morning, the driver won’t take him to school. So he’s sussed that and he’s missing out on his education.

‘He just wants to be with me all the time.’

She also spoke out about how ‘hard’ it is to care for Harvey, as well as her other children – Junior, Princess, Jett and Bunny.

‘It’s so hard. I’ve never had respite, I haven’t got a carer with him, I do it all myself. But I’m really having to think about it,’ she continued.

‘I hate it, because he’s my life. Do you know what I mean? But I’ve got to do what’s best for him but it won’t be for ever.

‘When he’s smashing things, and the kids are scared of him because he’s big, he’ll chase them and stuff. I’ve just got to do it for him.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted reps for Katie for a comment.
